Mercy Grant Programs Accepting Applications

From January 10 to February 11, Mercy will be accepting applications for the Mercy Caritas fund and the Catherine McAuley Area of Greatest Need Fund (previously known as the Mercy Make a Difference Fund) for fiscal year 2012. To qualify, programs must demonstrate how they are improving quality of life for individuals and families, particularly those who are poor or lack access to health care services/resources. All programs must be aligned with Mercy’s mission and strategic vision, meet an identified health need within the community and be an active collaborative partner with the local Mercy facility.

  • Mercy Caritas will award between $5,000 and $50,000 to select community-based programs in partnership with Mercy to address the health needs of their community.
  • Catherine McAuley Area of Greatest Need will award a total of $100,000 collected through the Mercy Way Campaign and donated through the generosity of Mercy ministry office co-workers. Applicants may apply for the full amount or a portion of the funds.
