Expecting a new addition to your family? At Mercy Hospital Fort Scott, we provide a warm and welcoming setting for mom, baby, dad and family members. We have an experienced staff and the medical facilities to help assure mom and baby remain healthy and comfortable through this very special time.

• Mercy Hospital doctors deliver up to 300 babies every year. Many of our nurses have worked in obstetrics and neonatal intensive care for more than 20 years.
• Our Mercy Family Birthplace features labor, delivery, recovery and post-partum care all in one comfortable, attractive patient room.
• Birthplace rooms have immediate access to surgical suites for C-section deliveries or birthing complications. Obstetricians provide 24-hour coverage for all deliveries.
• When extra care is needed, our Level II nursery provides a full team of pediatricians, family practice physicians and experienced NICU nurses.

Located between two beautiful courtyards, each Mercy Fort Scott Family birthplace has been designed for maximum privacy and comfort, and provides a nurturing environment that allows for bonding and rest before the trip home.
