Looking Ahead with Mercy

“One Mercy” – What does it mean?

We are one Mercy in spirit and name. We want you to have an exceptional experience whenever you hear or see the name “Mercy” – one that you will come to recognize by our look, feel, service and quality. Mercy’s community of 38,000 co-workers, 1,500 doctors and 28 hospitals are part of one team focused on delivering this experience, any place you receive care.

Our mission is unchanged

Our connection to the Sisters of Mercy remains rock solid.  At the core, we are the same Mercy we’ve always been. We have not been sold or merged. We are a ministry dedicated to serving the needs of our communities.

Pioneering spirit

We continue to develop care that is not only best for your health, but provides an exceptional experience. One that is easier and more personal. One that gives you confidence and empowers your to be an active participant in your own care. There are many ways this is possible today, and Mercy patients are already experiencing the difference. We continue to pursue new technology and ideas to constantly make health care better.

It’s really about you.

We’ve spent a lot of time listening and learning about the needs and expectations of your community, and everywhere we serve. We’ve heard from patients, family members leaders and others who serve people. We have made changes based on this feedback, with plans to do much more. We’re rethinking many things that will ultimately improve your Mercy experience.
