Medical Library

St. Edward Mercy Medical Center’s Medical Library provides information services for the health care team’s informational needs as related to patient care, education, research and administration. The Medical Library is a member of the National Libraries of Medicine – South Central Region, which includes libraries in the states of Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, and New Mexico.

Library Services:

The St. Edward Medical Library provides the following services to physicians, nurses, students, and patients/family members:

• Literature searches
• Photocopying  articles or portions of books (following copyright law)
• Internet access
• Interlibrary loan
• Computer assistance in Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint presentations)
• AV equipment available for meeting use.  Assistance provided in setting up equipment
• Useful consumer health web sites
