Hand surgeon Kenneth Hieke, M.D., has joined Mercy Clinic, a group of nearly 300 providers representing 26 medical specialties in over 50 locations serving Oklahoma City and surrounding communities.
Dr. Hieke has practiced hand surgery in Oklahoma City for nearly 22 years.
“Tailoring health care to my patients’ desires and expectations is my goal,” said Dr. Hieke. “I’m here to serve my patients so they can make informed decisions about whether they receive surgery, therapy or sometimes no treatment at all.”
Dr. Hieke received his doctorate in medicine from the Indiana University School of Medicine and completed his surgical residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. He completed a hand fellowship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D. C.
Mercy Clinic teams are linked by electronic health records, so everyone caring for a patient has access to that patient’s history, allergies, treatment plans and more. Patients can send messages to any of their Mercy Clinic providers via MyMercy, an access portal to their electronic health record and online communication tool, where they can monitor lab results, view upcoming appointments and review prescriptions.
