Mercy Health Foundation Hot Springs

St. Joseph’s is fortunate to be a part of such a generous community, and because of you, we have improved health care for our Hot Springs families, friends and neighbors. In exchange, Mercy Health Foundation provides unique funding opportunities that make charitable giving possible for more people, who know they are making a lasting difference for their family and new generations.

In addition to the impressive list of projects below, last year Mercy provided more than $18 million in charity care and community outreach programs.

  • Cooper-Anthony Mercy Child Advocacy Center – Arkansas’ only hospital-based facility of its kind, providing a comprehensive team approach and child-friendly environment for victims of child abuse.
  • The first robotic surgery program in central Arkansas provides the most advanced care for multiple conditions thanks to $2.4 million in donor gifts.
  • High-tech adult and infant computerized patient simulators for clinical education.
  • P.E.T. Scanner – Advanced imaging technology that aids in early detection of cancer and other diseases.
  • Digital Cardiac Catheterization Lab – A digital system allowing better X-ray images with less distortion and minimally invasive procedures for better care.
  • Mercy Lodge – Provides cancer (and other) patients and their families a comfortable place to stay in a home-like setting surrounded by loved ones during the time of treatment.
  • Maternal Child Unit – Family waiting room and Mother/Baby bonding room.
  • Breast MRI – Combines specially designed breast coils with existing MRI technology to provide a highly detailed image of the breast tissue.

Building better health care is a continual process, and so the need for philanthropic support is always with us. We are currently raising funds for a Mobile Mammography Unit, which will travel to rural locations to assist medically underserved women in south central Arkansas. Your continued support makes projects like this, and many others, possible.

Thank you for all you do for our community!
