Diabetes is a serious disease, but it can be successfully treated and managed. That’s why Mercy is committed to giving you the high-quality treatment you need, as well as education to keep you healthy and your diabetes under control.

• Your diabetes education team will include acertified nurse educator and a registered dietitian. They’ll work with you on a detailed and customized program to best manage your disease. The plan will cover everything from self-monitoring of blood glucose to insulin administration, to diet and exercise.
• Our outpatient services are certifiedby the American Diabetes Association (ADA)for meeting national standards.This ADA status means our staff provides the most effective and up-to-date diabetes care available.
• Hyperbaric oxygen therapy treatments speed healing for hard-to-heal wounds.
• Our proactive approach reduces complications. We’re here to help you control your diabetes, so diabetes doesn’t control you.
