LASIK Vision Correction

LASIK Surgery

Mercy Clinic-Eye Specialists are on the forefront of using LASIK technology to correct nearsightedness.  Dr. Shachar Tauber has been ranked in the top 1% of refractive surgeons in the U.S. at trustedlasiksurgeons.com. Our staff exceeds FDA certification requirements while providing a first-class patient experience.

We use a state of the art laser that adjusts to the unique curvature of each individual's corneal shape, improving visual results and reducing nighttime glare.  The laser also tracks eye movement and makes adjustments 200 times per second. Each laser pulse is automatically checked three times and adjusted if necessary before it is delivered to the cornea. Each pulse is also non-overlapping, increasing accuracy and safety.

Free laser vision evaluations are offered at our office.   During your evaluation, your eyes will be dilated with drops so we ask that you bring a driver.  Please allow two hours for the examination.  In order to obtain true corneal measurements, soft contact lenses should be removed and glasses worn for two weeks prior to your visit (and laser surgery) and gas permeable (hard) lenses should be out of the eye for at least three weeks.

Financing Your LASIK Procedure

At your appointment, we will discuss pricing and financing options. We offer 0% interest for 24 months at http://www.carecredit.com/lasik/. We also accept FLEX Spending Contribution payments. We offer a 'Global Fee' for your laser vision correction surgery.   If you currently have an eye doctor and wish to have your post-op care at their office, please let us know.  We will make arrangements for this care which is covered in your global fee.

We look forward to being an integral part of your vision correction journey!

Please call our office at 417-820-9328 to schedule an evaluation.
