Combs has served as a leader within Mercy for more than 22 years, most recently as chief operating officer and chief financial officer at St. John’s Mercy Health Care in St. Louis. As Mercy’s CFO, Combs will be able to apply his expertise and talent to the entire organization.

Kim Dayhas been named senior vice president–regional markets. Denny DeNarvaez has been named senior vice president–regional markets. In addition to continuing to serve as president/CEO of St. John’s Mercy Health Care in St. Louis and Washington, Mo., DeNarvaez will assume executive oversight of Mercy’s Oklahoma region. DeNarvaez has led St. John’s Mercy Health Care since 2005 and brings more than 20 years of experience in healthcare leadership to this expanded role.

“These changes will create a more collaborative organization, which will allow us to strengthen our existing health ministry as well as support future growth,” said Lynn Britton, president and CEO of Mercy. “The depth of experience that these individuals and other members of the leadership team bring to Mercy also will allow us to sustain our strong Sisters of Mercy mission and heritage.”
