Sisters of Mercy Health System Names Ford Senior Vice President

ST. LOUIS, MO (January 8, 2008) – The Sisters of Mercy Health System (Mercy) has named Fred Ford to the position of Senior Vice President. In this role, Ford will assume executive oversight for Mercy Health System of Oklahoma and Mercy’s physician recruitment activities, in addition to maintaining his current responsibilities in the areas of performance management, business intelligence and physician integration. 

Ford previously served Vice President of Performance Management for Mercy. Prior to this, he served as president of Unity Health of Arkansas, a joint venture between Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville and St. Mary’s Hospital in Rogers. He came to Mercy from KPMG Peat Marwick, where he was a partner involved in the integration of health systems.

Ford holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Kansas State University and is a certified public accountant.
