As a member of the MHA Board of Trustees, Morgan's responsibilities include overseeing the administration of MHA and developing association policies.

"We are delighted to have someone with Mike's impressive health care experience assume this important leadership role," said Marc D. Smith, president of the Missouri Hospital Association.

Morgan has 27 years of experience in health care management. He joined Mercy Health System 23 years ago and has served in Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas, Arkansas and now, Missouri. He joined St. John's Mercy as president and CEO in December 2000.
