Sisters of Mercy Health System Appoints New Board Member
St. Louis, Mo. (Dec. 1, 2008) — The Sisters of Mercy Health System (Mercy) has appointed Reginald R. Mebane to the board of directors of its sponsoring body, Mercy Health Ministry, effective December 1, for a three-year term.
Mebane is the Chief Operating Officer, SES, at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Coordinating Center for Infectious Diseases in Atlanta, Ga. He previously served as Chief Operating Officer for FedEx Trade Networks Transport and Brokerage Company and as Chairman of the Memphis Health, Education & Housing Finance Board. Mebane holds bachelor's and master’s degrees in psychology from the University of Memphis in Memphis, Tenn. In addition, he taught in the MBA program at the University of Buffalo in Buffalo, N.Y.
