Miller Named to Board of Directors at Sisters of Mercy Health System

ST. LOUIS, MO (October 17, 2007) – The Sisters of Mercy Health System (Mercy) has named Craig Miller, M.D., to its Board of Directors for a three year term.

Dr. Miller is president of KCM Consulting in Pensacola, Florida. Prior to this, he served as vice president of physician services for the Camden Group in Los Angeles, California. He also has served as senior vice president of medial affairs at Baptist Health Care in Pensacola, Florida. During his tenure, Baptist received the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award in healthcare. Dr. Miller is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and a member of the American College of Physician Executives.

Dr. Miller also is an accomplished author, co-authoring The Physician As Coach: The Awakening during his tenure at Baptist Health Care and the Baptist Leadership Institute. In addition, he has written and co-authored articles on health promotion and exercise physiology that have been published in several healthcare journals, including the New England Journal of Medicine.
