SISTERS OF MERCY HEALTH SYSTEM APPOINTS
NEW VICE PRESIDENT
St. Louis, MO (September 20, 2003) --
The Sisters of Mercy Health System (Mercy) has named Steve Mattachione to the
new role of Vice President–Enterprise Resource Planning. The appointment was
announced by Ron Ashworth, president and chief executive officer. The role of
VP–Enterprise Resource Planning was created to provide leadership for the critical
effort that Mercy is undertaking to implement the financial, human resources
and revenue aspects of its Systemwide information system.
Mattachione has served since 1993 as Chief Financial
Officer for Mercy Health System of Oklahoma, a member of the Sisters of Mercy
Health System. Prior to joining Mercy, Steve served in senior financial leadership
positions with several healthcare organizations and Price Waterhouse in the
Los Angeles area. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a law degree
from Loyola University.

involved in ensuring the success of our Mercy Information System,” said James

The Sisters of Mercy Health System (Mercy) operates

health and human services in a seven state area including Arkansas, Kansas,
Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas. Its members include 18
