SISTERS OF MERCY HEALTH SYSTEM ANNOUNCES PROMOTIONS

St. Louis, MO (September 23, 2004) – The Sisters of Mercy Health System (Mercy) has announced the following promotions:

  • Lynn Britton to Senior Vice President

  • Mike McCurry to Vice President–Resource Optimization, and President–Resource Optimization & Innovation (ROi –an operating division of the Sisters of Mercy Health System)
  • Shannon Sock to Vice President–Healthcare Solutions

The appointments were announced by Ron Ashworth, president and chief executive officer.

As senior vice president, Britton will provide executive leadership for a variety of activities that will assist Mercy in exploring opportunities to better use resources and develop organizational initiatives to meet current and future challenges. McCurry will lead the activities of the ROi operating division and will provide strategic direction and oversight for ROi’s three service divisions of group purchasing, supply chain management and performance consulting. Sock will lead Mercy’s efforts in analyzing opportunities for change, recommending priorities, and assisting in the implementation of new initiatives.
