ARDMORE, Okla. – Dr. Sean Davis, board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist, joins Mercy Clinic.

Dr. Davis has a passion for preventative care and, of course, delivering babies. “The emotion and happiness surrounding bringing a new life into the world is something that never gets old.”

After earning his medical degree from the University of Florida School of Medicine in Gainesville, Fla., Dr. Davis began his residency in Atlanta, Ga. at Emory University’s Grady Hospital. He completed his residency at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson, N.J., where he served as administrative chief.

Over the past several years, he has worked in Tahlequah, Okla. at Northeastern Oklahoma Community Health Centers and WW Hastings Indian Hospital. He has also worked with ONYX M.D. out of Denver, Colo. providing OB/GYN coverage for other physicians as needed.

“Dr. Davis is an outstanding addition to our southern Oklahoma community,” said Randy Jobe, vice president of clinic operations for Mercy Clinics. “He is a genuine and caring individual that will, no doubt, partner with his patients to keep them healthy, or when the need arises, work with them to get them well.”

Dr. Davis, his wife and three daughters are excited to get to call Ardmore home. The family based their decision on Ardmore’s small town atmosphere with close proximity to Oklahoma City and Dallas attractions and amenities.

Mercy Clinic OB/GYN - Ardmore provides complete obstetrical care including prenatal, delivery and postpartum care as well as complete gynecological care and minimally invasive surgery and hysterectomy. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call Mercy Clinic OB/GYN at 580-223-3216.
