Fort Smith, Ark. - As part of Mercy’s community master plan, Mercy Clinic is continuing to add new locations in order to increase health care access for our community.
Mercy Convenient Care - Zero Street is now open at 1400 S. Zero Street, 479-573-3082. Mercy Clinic has invested $2.6 million in building renovations. The 5,614 square foot clinic includes 13 exam rooms with fully integrated electronic health record capabilities, a comfortable waiting room and new exterior.
This is Mercy’s second walk-in location. The first is at 3503 S. 79th Street. Both are open Monday-Friday from 9am-9pm, Saturday 9am-6pm and Sunday 1pm-6pm. No appointment is necessary.
“This clinic is a real investment in the health of our community,” said Dr. John Weddle, Mercy Clinic Convenient Care physician. “We’re now open 74 hours a week at two different locations. Patients can walk right in days, nights and weekends and get care for their minor illnesses and injuries.”
In addition to this new convenient care clinic, two other locations are now open to serve patients in the River Valley.
Mercy Clinic McAuley Family Medicine is dedicated to providing expanded access
to health care for Medicaid patients seeking to establish with a primary care provider.
The clinic is located at 3420 S. 74th St., the phone number is 479-573-3740. It is open weekdays from 8am-5pm.
Also now open is Mercy Clinic Primary Care – Sallisaw located at 1015 E. Choctaw Ave., Sallisaw, OK. It can be reached by calling 479-314-8958. This is the first Mercy Clinic Fort Smith location on the Oklahoma side of the border allowing Mercy to work toward its goal of providing care to people where they live.
