MercyKids Immunization Clinic nurse
Kathy Schwarz, RN, administers nasal mist flu vaccine
to patient Richelle Weaver.

MercyKids Immunization Clinic at Mercy Hospital will offer a special one-day flu shot clinic for children Monday, Nov. 4, from 12:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Immunizations are available for children ages 6 months to 18 years, and the vaccine is available in both injectable and nasal mist forms.

Immunizations will be provided by appointment only, and parents may call (620) 332-3221 to schedule. Parents should bring their insurance cards and register their children in the hospital’s outpatient registration area before proceeding to the clinic, located on the second floor. Co-pays and insurance deductibles are the responsibility of the patient, and financial assistance is available for those uninsured for this service.

Parents also should bring their children’s immunization records to the clinic for updating.
