Who We Are

From 2017 to 2021, 44,802 patients have chosen the David C. Pratt Cancer Center for their cancer care. The David C. Pratt Matching Gift Challenge is Mercy’s commitment to ensuring that every patient receives quality, innovative care when they come to the David C. Pratt Cancer Center at Mercy Hospital St. Louis. Cancer has met its match.

Nearly 25% of children experience life-altering developmental, learning, or behavioral challenges, which can include autism spectrum disorders (ASD), attention or learning disorders and related conditions which impact the entire family. Mercy is committed to ensuring families have access to therapies that will help their children reach their full potential.

Mercy Health Foundation St. Louis is an organization that supports Mercy Hospital St. Louis and Mercy Clinic East. The Foundation supports initiatives across our communities in creating treatment options to all who need it, regardless of their ability to pay. The Foundation also helps fund the acquisition of advanced medical technologies and life-saving equipment.

Mercy Health Foundation St. Louis is a nonprofit institution. We are dependent on the donations and support of generous corporations,  foundations and caring individuals like you. Your gifts to Mercy Health Foundation St. Louis help enhance patient programs, fund life-saving equipment and capital projects and support charity care programs and services for those who need it most.

Thanks to your generous donations, Mercy Health Foundation St. Louis has helped bring new specialized forms of cancer care and increased access to dental care for underserved individuals. The Foundation has also generated tremendous growth in services for children with developmental disabilities, provided more support for families coping with mental health issues, purchased new advanced medical equipment and so much more.

When you donate to Mercy Health Foundation, you support critical projects in our community. That’s right. Every dollar you give advances health care right here at home.

Our Focus

Patients in, and around St. Louis, should be able to access health care services conveniently and confidently. With your help, patients are able to see primary and specialty care providers without leaving their community.

Your gifts help treat the most challenging diseases while keeping patients close to home.

Cancer Care
Mercy’s $23 million cancer campaign is our commitment to further improve and expand cancer care. We are committed to bringing more technology, more hope and more reasons to give to the David C. Pratt Cancer Center – equipping patients and their loved ones to fight back like never before. Our comprehensive approach to cancer care and proposed investments in Mercy’s cancer care delivery will ensure every patient in the greater St. Louis region, and eventually in every community we serve, will have access to compassionate, state-of-the-art care that is consistent throughout our four-state service area.

Mercy Kids Therapy and Development Center
Mercy is building an advanced center large enough to offer all therapy – development and Autism spectrum services –  under one roof. This space will offer innovative treatments and personalized care in addition to providing family support, community education programming, a comprehensive behavioral health component and the capacity to more than double the number of children, teens and families served.

Thomas was diagnosed with autism shortly before his first birthday. With the help of Mercy Therapy and Development Center’s specialized care team, Thomas is now thriving. Learn how this innovative program is making a life-changing difference for patients and their families, and helping children reach their full potential.

Charity Care for Underserved
Mercy Hospital JFK Clinic offers medical, obstetrical, gynecological and pediatric services to approximately 6,000 uninsured or underinsured patients. Mercy seeks support to cover the costs of preventative dental care, eye care, durable medical equipment and additional charity care services.

Gertrude B. Busch Dental Clinic: Provides preventative dental care to our uninsured and underinsured patients.

Striving to continue the legacy of Catherine McAuley, Women with a Mission giving society combines resources, vision and passion for helping others to support and improve health care in our communities.
