Does Your Pain Medication Cause Constipation?

Mercy Health Research is seeking volunteers to participate in a clinical research study evaluating an investigational medication for constipation.

If you:  

  • Are between the ages of 18 and 85,
  • Currently take prescription pain medication such as Morphine®, Oxycontin®, Vicodin® etc. for non-cancer related pain
  • And have been experiencing constipation for at least 4 months

You may qualify.  Qualified participants receive study-related physical exam(s)  and study drug at no cost. Compensation for time and travel also may be provided.
