Mercy’s roots in southeast Kansas extend back to 1886, when two Sisters opened a 10-bed hospital at the request of the local priest. Today, Mercy Hospital Fort Scott is a full-service, 69-bed hospital, equipped with the most advanced technology available, enabling us to serve the health care needs of the region.

In addition to hospital services, we care for our neighbors throughout the region at Mercy Clinics in Fort Scott, Pleasanton, and Arma, Kansas. We also offer a Visiting Specialist Clinic at 902 S. Horton, Fort Scott.  And, for patients who cannot come to us, we offer Mercy Home Health and Hospice services.
