Framework for Quality

Mercy has been engaged in a process to build a Systemwide “framework for quality” to support organizational improvement. This framework has been researched and developed by a group of Mercy leaders and co-workers, with the goal of providing a method for engaging in improvement activities through a coordinated and consistent approach.

 

There are three components to the framework:

  • Structure – Ensuring leadership involvement and support through effective governance and communication.
  • Tools – Identifying and implementing organizational improvement tools to facilitate change management and performance improvement.
  • Resources – Recruiting and training staff to lead and facilitate organizational improvement activities.
