Rebuilding Joplin: The Story of Mercy in Joplin

As our nation remembered the storm that ravaged Joplin in May 2011, Mercy published a series of books on the events that changed the lives of so many in the community and how the health ministry has responded. The three book series includes:  “Caring,” which explores how Mercy is supporting its co-workers while they attend to the needs of Joplin and to each other; “Rebuilding,” which describes how Mercy has replaced the hospital destroyed in the tornado; and “Enduring,” which captures stories of courage in the aftermath of the storm and looks  ahead to Joplin's future.
