Emergency symptoms include:

  • Chest pain
  • Severe abdominal pain
  • Difficulty breathing/shortness of breath
  • Sudden dizziness, weakness, loss of coordination or balance
  • Sudden blurred vision
  • Numbness in the face, arm or leg
  • Sudden, severe headache
  • Deep cuts or bleeding that won't stop
  • Coughing up/vomiting blood
  • Severe burns
  • Seizures
  • Signs of shock: chills, blue lips/fingernails, severe pain, dizziness, rapid breathing
  • Head injury resulting in vomiting, blurred vision, severe headache, loss of motor skills, bleeding from the nose/ears
