Women's Care

Whether you’re 18 or 80, Mercy in Springfield has the region’s top women’s health specialists ready to provide both compassionate and comprehensive care. Our physicians provide routine gynecological care, but also the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of heart disease, breast cancer, weight issues, diabetes, osteoporosis and more. And, we offer a wide variety of educational opportunities to help you learn more about your health.

• Mercy Breast Center's program covers the entire spectrum of breast care including education, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and research. And, we’re southwest Missouri’s only fully accredited provider of stereotactic and ultrasound guided biopsy programs.
• Our Women’s Heart Center, in Hammons Heart institute, focuses on helping women prevent heart attacks with heart risk assessments, nutritional and exercise consultations and cooking and “Stress-Less” classes.
• Women’s surgical services include the daVinci surgical system for minimally invasive gynecologic surgeries (like hysterectomy).
• Women’s cancer care is provided by a board-certified GYN Oncologist.
• Monthly educational health forums are offered on a variety of women’s health topics.
