Michelle Smith, DC
explains Auriculotherapy to stop smoking
Quitting smoking is one of the most common New Year’s resolutions that people make, and one of the toughest. St. John’s Mercy offers a therapy that can help people break the chemical dependancy on nicotine while offering advice on how to break the habits that go along with smoking.
Auriculotherapy is an electromagnetic acupuncture of the ear. It targets the addictive centers of the brain and helps patients get over the cravings and withdrawl symptoms that often are the reason they go back to smoking with other methods.
Check out the interview with Michelle Smith, DC, manager of St. John’s Mercy Integrated Services, as she explains the therapy.
