Our Emerson Level III NICU offers the most advanced care in St. Louis County for premature or critically ill babies.

NICU infants are closely monitored around the clock by our experienced neonatologists, neonatal nurse practitioners, and staff nurses. Moms and dads are cared for, too, by a staff that’s always ready to listen, to comfort and to answer questions.

The NICU is located on the obstetrics floor next to our mothers’ rooms, so moms and babies can remain close. Parents are encouraged to visit the NICU to spend time with Baby, sharing loving touches that are so important to an infant’s development.
