In the Childbirth Center, our private suites are combined Labor, Delivery and Recovery (LDR) rooms in one place, with your labor nurse close by when you need her.
Your first moments together. Your baby stays tucked close. Time to gaze, snuggle and quietly rock. Nurses from the newborn nursery come to your room to check on your baby. Time to celebrate, hug the grandparents and text your best friend with the news!
Care notes
- Your labor and birth nurses are trained in current labor support techniques. They are partners in your Mercy birthing plan.
- Nursing stations are located close to all of the suites.
- Our central fetal monitoring system allows nursing staff to observe the status of mother and baby.
- Specialized OB anesthesiologists and certified nurse anesthetists provide 24/7 pain management care tailored to your needs.
