Community Roundtables

Listening is our tradition, initiated by the Sisters of Mercy nearly two centuries ago. The Sisters listened to community needs and took action, caring for people, creating schools and empowering those who were marginalized. They often found resourceful and unconventional means to accomplish their work. And they realized the importance of making hard changes to continue their mission.

Today our master planning process represents the same kind of community effort. Through roundtable sessions, we listen to the needs of our communities and challenge ourselves to dream big - thinking locally and globally at the same time. The discipline of planning together drives our accountability in executing the plan.

Through collaboration with our communities, we are able to share plans for the future and uncover ways of keeping the best care close to home.
