Mercy Donates $60,000 to Southwest Missouri Charities

August 4, 2010

St. John’s Clinic physicians and co-workers presented checks totaling $60,000 to the Developmental Center of the Ozarks and the Child Advocacy Center on Aug. 3 in the main lobby of the hospital’s new patient tower. The donation came at the conclusion of the Clinic’s semi-annual Force for Good campaign, this one called “Stand Up for Kids.”  St. John’s Clinic co-workers and physicians raise funds and make personal donations to campaigns twice a year to benefit worthy causes in the community. Since its inception in 2003, Force for Good has distributed nearly $1 million dollars. Force for Good is a fund within St. John’s Foundation for Community Health.
