St. John's Hospital - Lebanon donated $700 to Ozarks Honor Flight in honor of seven World War II veterans from Lebanon who will be participating in upcoming flights.

Each Veteran will receive $100 for incidentals while touring the World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C.

Veterans from Lebanon and neighboring communities accepted the donation 10 a.m. Tuesday in the hospital’s conference rooms 1 & 2. The hospital is located at 100 Hospital Drive (third Lebanon Exit off I-44).

Ozarks Honor Flight's mission is to transport, in the safest and most timely means possible, military veterans of World War II to Washington DC to view their World War II Memorial and other commemorative sites with the highest degree of honor, respect and gratitude at no cost to the veteran.  Ozarks Honor Flight is a non-profit organization, founded in October 2009, in Springfield, Missouri.  The founding members have assembled the talents and commitment of a group of people who share their love and respect for our veterans, dedicated people who are working to deliver on the promise of the Honor Flight.
