The Clinic at Walmart, operated by Mercy, in Berryville, Arkansas, opened for patients Nov. 17, 2010. This is the first Walmart clinic location for St. John’s Clinic and the third Walmart location within Mercy. Mercy in Oklahoma City has opened two locations this past summer in Oklahoma City and Edmond.

The 450 square foot clinic in Berryville offers two large exam rooms, one restroom, a lab processing center and a waiting area. The Clinic at Walmart provides prompt, affordable access to certified medical professionals, seven days a week, including evenings and weekends. The clinic is fully installed with Epic, keeping patients connected to their Mercy primary care physician. It is staffed with licensed advance practice nurses with oversight by Eric Spann, MD, Randal Spurgin, MD and Daniel Sherwood, MD. With the opening of this clinic, there are 116 in-store clinics in Walmart stores across 25 states.
