Last fall, St. John’s Clinic opened a new state-of-the-art facility on 1605 Martin Spring Drive in Rolla, Mo. The 107,000 square-foot clinic is the region’s most technologically advanced healthcare facility, and one of the first in the nation designed for the electronic health record and the new workflows of the digital age.

A year since opening its doors, the Rolla Clinic physicians have assisted patients at more than 90,000 visits and an additional 27,000 patient visits for hospital-based services such has sleep lab, physical therapy, oncology, radiology and outpatient surgery have taken place. The pharmacy within the clinic filled more than 38,000 prescriptions during its first year of operation.

St. John’s Clinic - Rolla was the first St. John’s facility designed specifically to support the physician component of the Electronic Health Record (EHR). In addition to providing for better and more coordinated patient care, the EHR reduces paperwork, streamlines workflows, and provides patients and physicians with increasingly efficient access to medical information.

Recently, patients have been able to access their personal medical information through MyMercy, a part of the EHR. MyMercy is a free online service giving patients the ability to track health history, schedule appointments, contact a doctor and renew prescriptions via a personal computer or smart phone.

St. John’s Clinic-Rolla has given generously to the Rolla community since opening the new facility. St. John’s Clinic raised more than $4,000 for the Community Partnership Capable Kids program as part of the Clinic’s Force For Good bi-yearly campaigns. Force for Good efforts in southwest Missouri and northwest Arkansas have totaled more than $1 million. The Clinic has also been active in the annual the Crayon Crusade, which gathers school supplies and basic necessities for area children in need which has given more than 30,000 school supplies to children of the Lebanon and Rolla area since 2004.
