Family practice physician Lisa Martin has joined St. Joseph’s Mercy Clinic in Murfreesboro.
“The addition of Dr. Martin to the staff is going to be a wonderful asset to the community and the patients of the Mercy Clinic,” said Kevin Carlisle, practice manager for St. Joseph’s Mercy Medical Clinic. “We look forward to Dr. Martin helping the clinic meet the needs of the community we serve.”
Mercy Clinic is located at 319 East 13th Street and is a family practice facility. Dedicated to providing exceptional care, services include medical examinations and evaluations, as well as imaging, EKG and laboratory services. Built in 1997, the clinic features more than 7,800 square feet of space.
Martin is originally from Fayetteville and attended medical school at UAMS in Little Rock. She performed her residency and worked for six years in Wichita, Kan., and six years in the Dallas-Fort Worth area before coming to Mercy.
“I’m new to southwest Arkansas, but I’m a native Arkansan and excited about joining St. Joseph’s Mercy,” Martin said. “I’m really looking forward to getting to know everyone in the community.”
Martin will join Dr. Mark Floyd on the Mercy Clinic medical staff.
“My specialty is family practice, but I treat everything and I’ve always seen lots of women and children. And a lot of health maintenance and preventative care,” Martin said.
Martin is married and has three children. She enjoys horseback riding and reading in her spare time as well as playing sports with her children.
