Healthification stresses a well-balanced life which includes nutrition, physical activity, stress management and smoking cessation. As a first step, Mercy is revamping the cafeteria food service to help co-workers make more nutritious and informed decisions. Mercy Nutritional Services has restructured food merchandising by offering more fresh fruits, vegetables and whole grains, posting product nutritional values and encouraging the use of an online Mercy menu which allows patrons to design a weekly meal plan and track caloric intake.
