Pediatric neurologists John F. Mantovani, MD, and Denis I. Altman, MD, recently joined the Mercy multi-specialty group, affiliated with Mercy Children’s Hospital and Mercy Hospital St. Louis.
Dr. Mantovani has been in private practice at Mercy since 1984. He currently serves as the chief of the section of child neurology along with medical director of Mercy Children’s Hospital and the Mercy Child Development Center. Dr. Mantovani is an associate professor of clinical neurology and pediatrics at Washington University School of Medicine.
Dr. Altman has been in private practice at Mercy since 1991. He is a member of the American Medical Association, Child Neurology Society and the American Academy of Neurology. He is a clinical associate professor of pediatrics and neurology at Washington University School of Medicine.
The Mercy multi-specialty group in Mercy’s east Missouri region consists of more than 380 primary care and specialty physicians, and nearly 75 nurse practitioners and physician assistants. The group covers more than 50 clinical specialties with 100 practice sites.
