St. Joseph's Mercy's John Lindsey elected president-elect of Arkansas Society for Respiratory Care.
St. Joseph’s Mercy’s John Lindsey has been elected the president-elect of the Arkansas Society for Respiratory Care for 2012. Lindsey will then serve as president in 2013.
Lindsey has been with St. Joseph’s Mercy since 2003 and was named Director of Respiratory Care in 2008.
This is Lindsey’s fifth time to be elected to this post. He previously served as president elect in 1994, 1997, 2000 and 2005 and as president in 1996, 1999, 2002 and 2007. He has also held several other positions though the years with the Arkansas Society of Respiratory Care and American Association of Respiratory Care.
Lindsey was named Arkansas Respiratory Therapist of the Year in 2009, winning the award for the sixth time. The 40th annual meeting of the ASRC will be held Sept. 28-30 in Hot Springs. In addition to his work at St. Joseph’s Mercy, Lindsey also serves as a regional faculty instructor for Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support and the Neonatal Resuscitation Program.
