All They Want For Christmas is a Cure

December 7, 2011

Rewards 4 Orgs is selling rewards cards for $10 each while the cards are currently valued at $900. The proceeds from the cards will be donated to the Jane Pitt Pediatric Cancer Center with a goal of raising $5,000.

There are currently only six St. Jude affiliate hospitals in the country, with one of those being right here in Springfield. To date, the Jane Pitt Pediatric Cancer Center has seen 99 oncology patients in their clinic since August 2009. They had 36 new diagnosed patients last fiscal year, 20 of which were referred to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis. The majority of these 20 will return or have returned to Springfield to continue their treatment. The other 16 have received all of their treatment in Springfield. In addition to the oncology patients, they have seen to date 280 hematology patients. These patients have various other types of blood disorders.

Rewards 4 Orgs is teaming up with Little Hands Big Helpers to raise money for the Jane Pitt Pediatric Cancer Center in an effort to purchase gifts for the children who spend their holiday in the hospital. With so many ways to give to those in need at Christmas, Reward 4 Orgs presents a creative way to give while consumers shop at participating local businesses.

Now through Dec. 15, “All They Want For Christmas Is A Cure” rewards cards can be purchased from Rewards 4 Orgs websites, www.reward4orgs.com or www.reward4schools.com, and at many of the participating merchants.

Click here for a list of participating merchants and the rewards they offer. As new merchants are added the rewards they offer will automatically be added to the card. This card is the very definition of the gift that keeps on giving. For more information please contact Sonny Gartin, President Rewards 4 Orgs, LLC.
