The Pattonville High School Varsity Girls Soccer Team is hosting its 3rd Annual Kicks for Cancer Game, which raises funds for the Cardinal Kids Cancer Center at Mercy Hospital St. Louis. Four local teams --Pattonville, Hazelwood West, Parkway Central and Parkway South -- will play in the games, which will be held Thursday, April 19, at Parkway Central High School, 369 North Woods Mill Road, Chesterfield. Pattonville will play Hazelwood West at 5 p.m. and Parkway Central will play Parkway South at 7 p.m.
Last year, the teams raised $4,000 for the Cardinal Kids Cancer Center. This year, the goal is $10,000. Donations will be part of a raffle drawing that will take place during the half time of the second game. Raffle ticket sales begin April 1. All money raised will be donated to the center.
Donations may be sent to Tom Iffrig, Varsity Girls coach at Pattonville High School, 2497 Creve Coeur Mill Road, Maryland Heights, MO 63043. You may also contact the team’s parent representative, Karen Derksen, at 314-882-7008, or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org, and she will pick up the donation.
