Mercy Children’s Hospital is sponsoring Boo at the Zoo Spooky Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on October 27. Children are encouraged to wear their costumes for Trick or Treating at the Zoo, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Other activities throughout the day include entertainment, crafts, games, and a Costume Charac ter Meet-and-Greet and Jamboree at 3 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.
Parents will love all the photo opps with pumpkins, haystacks and zoo animals in the background!
No one over the age of 13 is allowed to wear a costume unless they are accompanying younger children. Zoo policy requires that no adults may wear a mask or have face painting that covers their faces, to avoid scaring young children.
Other sponsors for Spooky Saturday are Build-a-Bear Workshop®, Fresh 102.5 and Y98FM.
Boo at the Zoo Nights are also held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., Oct. 19 - 30. For more information on Boo at the Zoo, visit the Zoo events website.
