Mercy Hospital Carthage to Host Pain Management Lunch and Learn

Lunch & Learn: David Tonkin, M.D. will be the guest speaker at a Lunch & Learn entitled “All About Pain: How Do We Treat It?” at Mercy Hospital Carthage on Wednesday, April 17 at 12 noon in the hospital 1800 – Community Room. Dr. Tonkin is board certified in anesthesiology. He offers the latest treatment for arthritis and osteoarthritis, cancer pain, cervical neck pain, fibromyalgia, herniated discs, headaches, spinal pain and more. Lunch will be available. Dr. Tonkin Tonkin is a board certified anesthesiologist who completed an accredited interventional pain management fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Tonkin specializes in the latest treatments for chronic pain including back pain, herniated discs (“sciatica”), arthritis of the spine, chronic pelvic pain, complex regional pain syndrome, and diabetic peripheral neuropathy.
