ST. LOUIS - Mercy helped the St. Louis Blues celebrate Pink at the Rink for breast cancer awareness on Friday, March 1. Mercy doctors were on hand to answer questions and survivors were recognized.
Two videos played during the game's intermissions, one featuring breast cancer survivor Elizabeth Montroy’s story and the other highlighting Mercy Cancer Services.
Montroy found a lump when she was just 14 weeks pregnant with twins and received the diagnosis shortly after. She was then referred to Mercy Clinic St. Louis Cancer and Breast Institute where her cancer care and treatment was closely coordinated with Mercy’s high-risk OB/GYNs at Mercy Maternal and Fetal Health Center.
