Kicks for Cancer

April 11, 2013

ST. LOUIS - Four area high school varsity girls’ soccer teams are joining efforts for charity with games on Friday, April 19, to benefit the Cardinal Kids Cancer Center at Mercy Children’s Hospital.

The fourth annual Kicks for Cancer games will be played at Pattonville High School, 2497 Creve Coeur Mill Road in Maryland Heights. Ritenour High School faces Hazelwood West High School at 5 p.m. and Pattonville High School plays Rockwood Summit High School at 7 p.m. Admission to the event is $2.

T-shirts are being sold for $10 and raffle tickets will be available at the game for a chance to win Cardinals baseball tickets.

Team members will be playing the games in honor of loved ones battling cancer. These loved ones will be honored at the game when the players present them flowers at half-time.
