Mercy Clinic Adds New Doctors in St. Louis

Doctors joined Mercy Clinic in July and August 2013.

ST. LOUIS - Mercy Clinic, the multi-specialty physician group affiliated with Mercy Hospital, recently added new doctors and established new practices.



Marc Bernstein, MD, gastroenterologist with Mercy Clinic Digestive Disease, established a new practice Mercy Clinic Hepatology, located at 621 S. New Ballas Rd., Ste. 598A. Dr. Bernstein will continue to see patients at both practices.



The OB Health Partners practice joined Mercy and is now Mercy Clinic OB/GYN Sunset Hills, located at 10777 Sunset Office Dr., Ste. 200. Doctors with the practice include J. Todd Glass, MD Christina Hugge, MD; Donald Lange, MD; Renee Stein, MD; and David Super, DO.



Mercy Clinic Adult Hospitalists, internal medicine doctors who see inpatients at Mercy Hospital St. Louis, added Emily Wood, DO; Amit Gupta, MD; Iba Al Wohoush, MD; Timothy Bucci, MD; Sabrina Padgett, MD; Muhammad Umair Ali, MD; Suneetha Amara, MD; and Damien Ricklis, MD.



Dr. Octavio Chirino, OB/GYN and past OB/GYN department chairman for Mercy Hospital St. Louis, has started Mercy Clinic Women’s Integrative Health, located at 15945 Clayton Road, Ste. 230C in Ballwin. The practice will focus on combining traditional medicine and functional medicine to help women combat the health problems of aging.



Corey Wagner, MD, OB/GYN specializing in minimally invasive gynecology, joined Mercy Clinic Minimally Invasive Gynecology. He completed his OB/GYN residency at Mercy Hospital St. Louis and his fellowship at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica, N.Y.



Mercy Clinic Child and Adolescent Psychiatry added Gregory Robinson, PhD, and Ujjwal Ramtekkar, MD. Dr. Robinson has been with Mercy for 12 years caring for patients at Mercy Children’s Therapy and Development Center. Dr. Ramtekkar completed his residency with Washington University, Barnes-Jewish Hospital and St. Louis Children’s Hospital and his clinical fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School.



Shane Stephenson, MD, joined Mercy Clinic Family Medicine Clayton-Clarkson, located at 15945 Clayton Rd., Ste. 330 in Ballwin. He earned his medical degree at St. Louis University School of Medicine and completed his family medicine residency at Mercy Hospital St. Louis.



Rebecca Rodriguez, MD, joined Mercy and will open Mercy Clinic Family Medicine Technology Drive, located at 2223 Technology Dr., Ste. 4, in O’Fallon, Mo. She earned her medical degree at St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine and completed her family medicine residency at Mercy Hospital St. Louis.



Mercy Clinic Children’s Critical Care, doctors who care for patients in the pediatric intensive care unit at Mercy Children’s Hospital, added and Phineas Oren, MD. Majcina earned his medical degree from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, Ill., completed a pediatric residency at John Hopkins in Baltimore, Md., along with a pediatric critical care fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine. Oren earned his medical degree from University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Penn., completed a pediatric residency and pediatric critical care fellowship at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Ill.



Mercy Clinic Internal Medicine Des Peres, located at 1000 Des Peres Rd., Ste. 310, added Christopher Hamm, MD, and Adam Ralko, MD. Hamm earned his medical degree from University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford and completed an internal medicine residency at Mercy Hospital St. Louis. Ralko earned his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine and completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor, Mich.



Jonathan Schonert, MD, an emergency medicine doctor, joined Mercy Clinic Emergency Medicine and will care for patients at Mercy Hospital St. Louis. He earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine Chicago – Rockford in Rockford, Ill., and completed an emergency medicine residency at West Virginia University in Morgantown, W. Va.



Anjani J. Urban, MD, joined Mercy Clinic Family Medicine Eureka, located at 407 Meramec Blvd. She earned her medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine and completed her family medicine residency at Mercy Hospital St. Louis.



Alison Gildehaus, MD, joined Mercy Clinic Trauma and General Surgery, located at 621 S. New Ballas Rd., Ste. 560A on the Mercy Hospital St. Louis campus. She earned her medical degree from the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, Ill., and completed a general surgery residency at Saint Louis University Hospital. 



Anita Batra, MD, joined Mercy Clinic Internal Medicine Hazelwood, located at 755 Dunn Rd., Ste. 110 in Hazelwood. She earned her medical degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Reno, Nev., and completed an internal medicine residency at the University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque, N.M.



Sara Kabsoun, MD, joined Mercy Clinic Post Acute Services, located 621 S. New Ballas Rd., Ste. 1015B on the Mercy Hospital St. Louis campus working with patients at Mercy Skilled Nursing. She earned her medical degree from University of Medical Sciences & Technology in Khartoum, Sudan, completed a family medicine residency with Grand Rapids Medical Education Partners in Grand Rapids, Mich. She also completed a Geriatric Fellowship with Banner Health in Sun City, Arizona.



Mercy Urgent Care Tesson Ferry added Heather Lucas-Foster, MD; Leslie McCrary-Etuk, MD; and Ainee Ahmed, MD. Lucas-Foster earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine – Rockford in Rockford, Ill., and completed a family medicine residency at Family Medicine Southwest Washington in Vancouver, Wash. McCrary-Etuk earned her medical degree from Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in Guadalajara, Mex., and completed a residency at the State University of New York – Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. She also is a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. Ahmed earned her medical degree from Temple University Medical School in Philadelphia, Penn., and completed a family medicine residency at York Hospital in York, Penn.
