Washington, Mo. – A Mercy Hospital Washington Co-Worker and Community Blood Drive will be held 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, in the classrooms at the Mercy Medical Building North, 851 E. Fifth St. in Washington.
Appointments are not necessary, but donors with appointments will be served when scheduled. For appointments, please visit https://donateblood.mercy.net or call 1-866-37DONOR. All presenting donors will receive a free T-shirt.
Donors must be at least 17 years old, or 16 with permission from a parent or legal guardian. They must be at least 110 pounds and in good health. All donors should allow eight weeks between donations. For information regarding medical eligibility, call 1-866-37DONOR.
Donations provide life support for Mercy patients. Mercy Blood Donor Services is the only mobile, hospital-based, blood collection center in the state of Missouri. Being mobile means bringing services to peoples’ places of business, worship or school.
