Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City's neonatal intensive care unit

helps premature babies develop and go home with their families

When you're born weighing one pound and three ounces, you need all the help you can get.

So, although it's been tough spending Thanksgiving and now Christmas in the neonatal intensive care unit, Mommy Plymale - Rachel, to the rest of the world - is grateful for the technology that has helped her feisty, tiny daughter more than double in weight since her birth, September 29.

The Oklahoman's Jaclyn Cosgrove has the story, here.
