ARNOLD, Mo. – Mercy Clinic will open an expanded office in Arnold for two of its primary care physicians and will add space for numerous additional specialists to care for patients in the summer of 2014.
Dr. Christopher Abercrombie and Dr. Keith Georger will relocate from their offices in Fox Valley Center to an 11,000 square foot space in the Water Tower Place development near Shop N Save. A new internal medicine specialist will join the practice, and a specialty suite will be shared by several specialists.
"We have commitments from an OB/GYN physician, a minimally invasive gynecological surgeon and a cardiologist," said Janice Vespa, Vice President of Operations for Mercy. "We have reached out to other specialists, but we do not know who else will commit. A lot of specialists want time in these specialty suites."
Phase one of the project will utilize about 6,000 square feet of the leased space and is expected to be completed in late summer of 2014. In addition to the physician offices and specialty suite, the location will take x-rays and will have two stations to do blood draws for laboratory tests.
Plans for the remaining 4,000 square feet include adding additional primary care and specialty services as needed in the future, Vespa said.
