Washington, Mo. – Mercy wants your clutter.
Mercy Hospital Washington Auxiliary is getting ready to host its annual garage sale. What is needed are donations from the community to sell at the garage sale.
“With this cold weather, people are stuck inside. Why not end the winter by clearing out things you don’t want, don’t need and don’t have room for?” said Nancy Redhage, garage sale co-chairperson. “You’ll feel better because your house is better organized and less crowded, and you’ll help the auxiliary raise money for the hospital, which is a great thing to do for your community.”
Donations can be delivered after 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, at the American Legion Memorial Home, 1007 E. Third St. in Washington. To make alternate delivery arrangements, call 636-239-8044.
“We’re accepting many donations for the sale, because people like a variety of items and price points, but we’re especially interested in items other people can use and we can sell at gently used prices,” said Redhage.
Items will be sold at the Auxiliary’s garage sale from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, May 1, and from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, May 2, at the American Legion. The garage sale is open to the public.
The Auxiliary is proud to support the hospital in its mission to provide quality health care services. For more information, or to join the auxiliary, call 636-239-8044.
