The Mercy Hospital Auxiliary will host its annual “Go Fish! Fish Fry,” offering both lunch and dinner service, on Friday, March 28.
The event will be conducted at the St. Andrew Parish Center, with lunch scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and dinner from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. The menu will include fried catfish, a seven-bean side dish, hush puppies, french fries, homemade tartar sauce and dessert.
Guests may dine on site, or delivery to homes or offices also is available by calling 620-332-3204 to schedule. Lunch delivery orders must be placed by 10 a.m. and dinner delivery orders by 3 p.m. Cost is $10 for adults and $8 for children.
The meal is being provided by Headlift, LLC, www.headlift.com, and proceeds will benefit the Auxiliary’s service projects, including a pledge to the Mercy Health Foundation’s “Vision Forward” campaign for future hospital facility improvements.
More than 100 active auxiliary members annually contribute approximately 20,000 hours of volunteer service to the hospital. They work daily in a variety of locations and capacities, including Mercy Clinic reception desk; the Coffee Dock snack bar and gift cart; maintenance of hospital vending machines; Mercy Home Care; patient mail services; Registration; the Cancer Center; Health for Life; Pharmacy; host desk; courier services; bulletin boards; filing; special projects; Courtesy Transportation; and the annual fund-raising bazaar.
