Just in time for Mother’s Day and graduation, Mercy Hospital Auxiliary will host an Almost Everything $6 Sale on Thursday, May 1 from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Friday, May 2 from 7 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the McAuley Center at Mercy Hospital Fort Scott.
The two-day fundraising event will feature over 1,000 styles of the most trendy fashion accessories such as jewelry, scarves, seasonal items, gadgets, gifts and much more.
Many items are name brand, top quality products but priced up to 80 percent below retail.
The Mercy Hospital Auxiliary is a volunteer organization that raises money to benefit the hospital and provide scholarships for students.
Over the past 10 years, Mercy Auxiliary has donated nearly $700,000 to Mercy Hospital for state-of-the-art equipment, supplies and upgrading of services for the patients’ benefit through vending machine sales, proceeds of sales in the Mercy Market Place gift shop, and other specialty sales. Collectively, auxiliary member’s volunteer the equivalent of almost 7 full-time co-workers in hours of service each year to the hospital.
